Kerala

Tamil Nadu has a long coastline that stretches nearly a
1000 kms. The Coromandel Coast along the Bay of Bengal, boasts of many ideal locations for sun and surf. Golden
sands of the beach are dotted with coconut palm and casuarina groves. The sea
washes ashore pebbles and shells and the gentle breeze sways the yachts and
catamarans into the deeper waters of the sea and the waters form small dunes on
the shore.
Goa

was once part of Portugal’s eastern empire, a
lush green region famous for the number of beaches it offers.
Goa is Split into two districts; North - which has the
states capital Panaji and the former capital of Old Goa with its charming
churches and cathedrals. The South – quite the opposite as there are the more
modern and luxury hotels. If you are energetic and want lots of markets and
nightlife, the North is a better option whereas the South is better for those
seeking a relaxed and peaceful holiday.
Andhra Pradesh
A land full of history, Andhra Pradesh combines the old age traditions of the
Dravidian Hindus with the South and the Muslim heritage that came from Western
and Central Asia many decades ago. The capitals
and the twin cities of this region are Hyderabad and Secunderabad. You will find the Buddhist
ruins and in the south of the region the Worlds two most visited pilgrim sites.
NORTH INDIA
Rajastan

Punjab

shrines, temples and examples of Sikh Architecture.
Haryana
Haryana was the cradle of the
Indus Valley and
Vedic Civilizations, both flourishing on the banks of the
now lost
Sarasvati River. Several decisive battles were fought in the
area, which shaped much of the history of India. These include the
epic battle of
Mahabharata at
Kurukshetra (including the recital of the
Bhagavad
Gita by
Krishna),
and the three battles of
Panipat. Haryana was administered
as part of the
Punjab province of
British
India, and was carved out on linguistic lines as India's 17th state in 1966. Haryana is now a
leading contributor to the country's production of food grain and milk.
Agriculture is the leading occupation for the residents of the state
Himachal Pradesh
Popularly known as the Devbhumi – "Land of the Gods", Himachal Pradesh is a
beautiful hill state nestled in western Himalayas.
It is home to Dalai Lama and the old British station. The state is landlocked
with the Tibetan plateau to the east,
Jammu and Kashmir to the north, and the
Punjab
to the west. However the state stands apart from its neighbours in terms of its
sheer topographic diversity and breathtaking pristine natural beauty. From vast
tracts of high-altitude Trans-Himalayan desert to dense green deodar forests,
from apple orchards to cultivated terraces, from snow capped high Himalayan
mountain ranges to snow fed lakes and gushing rivers.
Uttaranchal
Uttaranchal now Uttarakhand became the 27th state of the
Republic of India
in November 2000. Carved out of the state of Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal mainly
comprises the hilly regions of Uttar Pradesh. The state borders Himachal Pradesh
in the north-west and Uttar Pradesh in the South, and has international borders
with Nepal
and China.
A charming land, known for its grand glaciers, splendid snow clad mountains and
panoramic views of the Himalayas. Here you will
find dense forests and valleys of flowers. Home to several of the Hindu pilgrim
sites and base of Mother Ganges, here you will find the highest peak of the
Himalayan ranges in India
called Nanda Devi.
Jammu & Kashmir (Ladakh)
Jammu
is famous for its temples, it is known as the city of temples. This tends to
overshadow its palaces, forts, forests
and powerful ziarats.
Set like a jeweled crown on the map of India, Kashmir is like a faceted diamond, changing character with the seasons
- always extravagantly beautiful. There are three Himalayan ranges - Karakoram,
Zanaskar and Panjal; snow capped and majestic and the landscape stretches from
northwest to northeast.
CENTRAL INDIA
Madhya Pradesh
Located in the heart of the country, Madhya Pradesh is India’s largest state. It is home to one of the
world's earliest and most highly developed civilisations. Here live some of the
most prehistoric aboriginal tribes in India. An area with rocky mountain ranges, deep
valleys and rushing rivers. You will find some of the best National Parks in
India
for Tiger sightings and the treasures of central India like the famous temples of Khajuraho,
Sanchi and beautiful Maheshwar.
Chattisgarh
A young state which used to be part of Madhya Pradesh up until
November 2000 when it became India's 26th state. It is rich in mineral resources
and blessed with India's densest forests. The majority of the
state is tribal and largely untouched by tourism which is only just starting to
open up. The local crafts here are traditional artifacts made of bell metal
casting 'Dokra' make excellent souvenirs.
EASTERN INDIA
Assam
Popularly called as the land
of the red river and blue hills,
Assam
is the gateway to the northeastern part of India. Assam has many fascinating things to see and
experience, including the
Kaziranga
National Park; home to the world
famous and rare one horned rhinoceros, the remarkable Majuli island, ancient
Ahom architectural marvels and numerous Golf courses backed by beautiful
heritage/luxury resorts and colonial tea bungalows. Renowned for its tea, rich
flora and fauna and other rare species of wildlife on the verge of extinction,
there is perhaps no part of the world where such a variety of wildlife exists
barring Africa.

places of pilgrimage.
West Bengal
West Bengal
is on the eastern bottleneck of
India, stretching from the
Himalayas in the North to the Bay of Bengal
in the South. This region has a long history that pre dates the Aryan invasion.
West Bengal is
now regarded as the cultural centre of India. Its creativity is reflected in its music,
theatres, films, paintings and literature.
Sikkim
Small but beautiful, Sikkim is located in the
eastern Himalayas. It stretches below the
Mount
Khanchendzonga, the third highest
mountain in the world. It is respected by the Sikkimese people as their god.
Apart from the splendor of the mountain peaks, lush valleys, fast flowing
rivers, hills, Sikkim
offers visitors a rare and individual experience. Within a matter of hours one
can move from the sub tropical heat of the lower valleys to the cold of the
rugged mountain slopes that reach up to the area of the everlasting snow.
Arunchal Pradesh
Visitors to Arunchal Pradesh have a wide variety of options to choose from.
There are places of worship and piligrimage sites, such as Parasuramkund and the
400 year old Tawang Monastery; sites of archeological excavations like
Malinithan and Itanagar; the calm beauty of the lakes, such as
Ganga
lake or Sela lake; or the numerous variations of scenic beauty of the snowclad
mountain peaks. There are also lush green meadows where thousands of species of
flora and fauna grow, and a number of wild life sanctuaries and national parks
where rare animals, birds and plants will amaze any visitor.
Nagaland
The State of Nagaland
was formally inaugurated on
December 1st, 1963, as the 16th State of the
Indian Union. It is bounded by
Assam
in the West, Myanmar
(Burma)
on the east, Arunachal Pradesh and part of Assam on the North and Manipur in the South.
It is a land of folklore passed down the generations through word
of mouth. Here, music is an integral part of life; folk songs, the brave deeds
of warriors and traditional heroes; poetic love songs portraying eternal ancient
tragic love stories; Gospel songs that touch your soul or the modern tunes made
to set your feet tapping.
Nagaland offers picturesque landscapes, the vibrant sunrise and
sunset, lush green flora. Perfect for a breath taking experience
Orissa
Once known s Kalinga, this was a land of a formidable maritime empire with
trading routes stretching up to Bali, Sumatra, Indonesia
and Java. Its main attractions are the temples of its capital
Bhubaneswar, Puri with its long sandy beaches and the
famous Sun
Temple at Konark. The tribal area of
the south east and its Adivasi people are becoming a popular draw for the
tourist. At a location near modern Bhubaneswar when it was known as Kalinga the
emperor Ashoka was part of a very bloody battle and it was after this that he
was so appalled with his actions he turned to Buddhism which he was then to take
a crucial part in spreading the religion to Sri Lanka and into East Asia.
Orissa is a place where one can find a combination of spirituality, religion,
culture, art and nature. Visitors to Orissa will get fascinated visited Konark
-a masterpiece of ancient and medieval architecture, Puri- a land of perfect
beaches and beautiful nature.
With a number of festivals and fairs also taking place round the year, Orissa
stands as a true land of festivities where the tourists can never get bored of.
With the spirit of Buddhism still haunting the very air of the state, Orissa is
a place where the language of stone defeats human language.
Bihar, Jharkhand, Meghalava, Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur
These other states also come under our group of East India. Currently
we do not have any tours into these regions. These areas are more suited to
someone that has traveled to
India
many times and wants to explore less developed destinations.
WESTERN INDIA
Maharashtra
Maharashtra
is a state whose size and diversity will amaze you. Home to Mumbai and
Bollywood, the name means 'The Great State'. One can enjoy the mountains that
stretch out into the mists as far as the eye can see, the number of forts and
the temples that have been sculpted into and out of basalt rock. There are a
number of varied cultures, many festivals and beaches that stretch over the
entire coast
Gujarat, Daman and Diu
Home of Gandhi - history dates back to the days when Gods hung around with
mortals; it goes back to the days of Buddhism in India
Gujarat
is also home to the rare Asiatic Lion and Wild Ass. This area is also known for
its stonework, appetizing cuisine and handicrafts.
