Dubrovnik Riviera

Dubrovnik was the jewel in the crown of the former Yugoslavia and today, remains untouched as the main attraction in Croatia; either as your base for a beach holiday or for a unique city break. The Old City is preserved within ancient walls and boasts historical riches of churches, monastries and palaces, providing hours of exploration. The new is just as inviting and the buzzing Bay of Lapad is popular with visitors enjoying the sun drenched squares, the relaxing beaches and the active nightlife.

Dubrovnik is surrounded by several Islands, these include Lokrum which is based in the South and Kolocep, Lopud, Sipan, Jakljan and Olipa – also known as the Elaphite Islands, based in the North. All of them feature lush evergreen vegetation.

Makarska Riviera

Makarska Riviera is approximately sixty kilometers long, one side is bounded by the blue sea and fiery white shingle beach and on the other by the cliff faces Biokovo – this is the highest Mediterranean coastal mountain and also the home to many of the unique plants and animal world. Biokovo mountain forms a unique landscape and most of the famous Makarska Riviera beaches can be found here.

This area not only has beaches, but it also offers dark green cypresses, pine and tamarisk – the beauty of the area that makes it a truly relaxing holiday will charm you.

Istrian Riviera

The Istrian Riviera is the largest peninsula on the Croatian coast and one of the most famous tourist areas in Europe and on the Mediterranean. It hosts more than two million tourists per year. Its position and transit links with European centres, pleasant Meditteranean climate and untouched natural beauties are gifts of nature that create a unique atmosphere.

Istria is a place where tourists can revel in modern tourist offerings, such as sport and entertainment activities, as well as in the peace of its coast and the narrow streets of its towns. Istria offers many fascinating destinations for an enjoyable vacation.

Dalmatian Islands

Split forms a part of the wider area of Dalmatia or Southern Croatia which is rich in historical and cultural heritage as well as in beautiful spots. A number of one-day trips connecting from Split to some of the Dalmatian destinations offer an opportunity to explore the area.
